The Sigma 135mm F1.4 DG | Art

The Sigma 35mm F1.2 DG II | Art replaces the original model from 2019. While it maintains the fast F1.2 aperture for shallow depth of field, it comes in a noticeably smaller and lighter body. A new floating focus system and dual HLA autofocus motors contribute to its improved performance. This lens also offers better suppression of chromatic aberration and focus breathing, making it suitable for both stills and video work. An aperture ring with locking and click options adds to the handling experience.

The 135mm F1.4 DG | Art is a new entry in the Art line. Sigma claims it delivers a combination of fine detail and rich background blur, which portrait photographers will find especially appealing. With 13 rounded diaphragm blades and a dual HLA autofocus system, it promises precise subject focus and smooth background separation. The lens features two AFL buttons, an aperture ring, and a detachable tripod collar that is compatible with Arca-Swiss clamps. It also has a weather-resistant build for outdoor use.

For those looking for a flexible focal length range, the 20–200mm F3.5–6.3 DG | Contemporary covers an unusually wide zoom range. This is the first lens to offer 10x zoom beginning at 20mm for full-frame mirrorless cameras. It weighs just 550g and measures 115.5mm in length, making it a practical option for travel or general photography. The HLA-powered autofocus motor is said to be responsive, and the lens includes features like a zoom lock, water and oil repellent coating and a dust and splash-resistant structure.
