This autumn, SheClicks is heading to the Scottish Highlands for a brand-new landscape photography workshop led by Angela Nicholson and Emily Endean.

Running from 2nd to 6th October 2025, this five-day women-only workshop is based in Glencoe – one of the most atmospheric and photogenic areas in the UK. Known for its towering mountains, peaceful lochs and often moody weather, Glencoe is the perfect place to slow down and focus on developing your photography skills.

Autumn Colours, Misty Mornings and Iconic Locations

Timed for peak autumn, the workshop offers the chance to photograph Glencoe when the colours are at their richest and the light is at its most golden. Participants will explore and photograph a range of locations including Buachaille Etive Mór, Glen Etive, Castle Stalker, Kilchurn Castle, Glencoe Lochan and the Glenfinnan Viaduct.

Each day will combine on-location shooting with expert guidance from Angela and Emily, covering everything from composition and exposure to creative techniques such as long exposures.

A Supportive and Inclusive Experience for Women

This workshop is open to women of all photography levels – whether you're just getting started or looking to refine your skills. With a small group size (between 7 and 14 participants), there’s plenty of space for one-to-one support, and the emphasis is on learning in a friendly, inclusive environment.

Angela Nicholson, founder of SheClicks, said:

“Workshops like this are about more than just taking photos – they’re a chance to build confidence, try new techniques and enjoy spending time with others who share your passion for photography. We want everyone to leave feeling inspired.”
