SheClicks Photography Workshop in Glencoe, Scotland, October 2025
I’m really excited to announce a new SheClicks photography workshop that I’ll be co-leading with outdoor photographer Emily Endean in Glencoe, Scotland.
From 2nd to 6th October 2025, we’ll be taking a small group of women to explore this incredible part of the UK. It’s a five-day, four-night workshop designed to help you slow down, connect with your surroundings and develop your photography skills – all in the company of a friendly and supportive group of like-minded women.

Why Glencoe?
October is one of the best times to be in the Highlands. The autumn colours are usually at their peak, the light is soft and golden, and the chances of misty mornings and moody conditions are high – perfect for creating atmospheric landscape images.
We’ll be based in Glencoe and heading out to shoot some of Scotland’s most iconic locations. Expect dramatic mountain views, peaceful lochs, flowing rivers, ancient woodland and historic landmarks. Locations include Buachaille Etive Mór, Glen Etive, Glencoe Lochan, Castle Stalker, Kilchurn Castle and the Glenfinnan Viaduct.
This is a trip that’s as much about creative exploration as it is about ticking off famous viewpoints. We’ll take our time, look closely and focus on developing a personal response to the landscape.
What to Expect
Whether you’ve just got into photography or have been shooting for years, you’ll be very welcome. This workshop is open to all levels, and Emily and I will be on hand to offer guidance, encouragement and practical advice throughout.
We’ll cover everything from composition and exposure to long-exposure techniques using waterfalls and lochs as our playground. You’ll have time to try things out, ask questions and receive personalised feedback – but also time to enjoy the scenery, chat with others and enjoy being immersed in nature with your camera.
And because it’s a women-only trip, the atmosphere will be relaxed, inclusive and confidence-boosting. I know how valuable it can be to learn in a space where you feel supported and understood – that’s exactly what this workshop is about.

Small Group Experience
We’re keeping the group size between 7 and 14 people to make sure there’s plenty of time for one-to-one support and to keep the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. If you’re interested in joining us, I recommend booking early to avoid missing out – places are limited and these trips do tend to fill up quickly.

A Quick Note on Insurance
You need to take out travel insurance. It’s really important – not just in case of emergencies while you're away, but also to protect you in case something happens before the trip that means you can’t come. It’s also worth checking that your camera equipment is covered, just to be on the safe side.
