SheClicks, CEWE and National Trust Photo Walk for Mental Health Awareness Week at Cliveden National Trust, Taplow
10:00 Friday 16th May, 2025

Please email angela@sheclicks.net to secure your space.

This is a special event in partnership with Cewe and National Trust as part of Mental Health Awareness Week to inspire the nation to discover the power of a photo walk. Step outside, camera in hand, and capture the beauty of nature and history.

We have free entry for up to 30 SheClickers, but please email me at angela@sheclicks.net to reserve your space. We will follow a planned route in the morning and then everyone can explore more of the fabulous grounds after lunch. There are lovely grounds for picnicking, but the Conservatory Cafe is also available with inside and outside space for lunch.

A tripod and a neutral density filters are recommended for capturing long exposure images in busier areas and where there's moving water. If you've never tried long exposure photography before, it's a great time to try with guidance from other SheClickers.

Why do a Photo Walk?
Exploring National Trust locations through photography helps you connect with nature, focus your mind, and have fun being creative.

Feel calmer and more focused
Walking in nature helps reduce stress, clear your mind, and bring a sense of calm.

Stay in the moment
Photography encourages you to notice details like colours, light, and textures, helping you focus and let go of worries.

Explore and be creative
Photo walks turn a simple outing into an adventure, sparking curiosity and creativity as you explore and capture the world around you.

Connect with nature and yourself
Photo walks combine movement, mindfulness, and creativity, helping you feel more grounded and in control.

No meet-up in your area?

Why not host a meet-up? Hosting a meet-up is easy. Just decide where you would like to photograph, pick a date and time, and then email Angela to receive a form to complete to let her know the details. Then all you need to do is be there at the appointed time.

Locations with good transport links, easy access to toilets and a convenient place for tea/coffee, snacks and/or lunch are usually favoured.
